Account and Profile Information

When you create a Magmaro account, you provide certain information directly to the platform. This includes your chosen username, display name, email address, date of birth, country and password. Once your account exists, you may also provide optional profile information such as an avatar, banner image, profile biography, external website link, social media handles and any other content you add to your public profile.

Magmaro stores this information to authenticate your identity, operate your account, personalise your experience, associate your content and activity with your profile, and provide creator or buyer-facing features. Your email address is used for account communication, security alerts and notification delivery, and is never publicly displayed to other users without your explicit consent.

Account preferences — including visibility settings for your public profile, about section display, notification categories and interface preferences — are also stored so your choices persist across sessions and devices.

Marketplace and Creator Content

If you publish content on Magmaro as a creator, the platform stores all data associated with that content. This includes resource listings, job posts, listing descriptions, pricing, tags, categories, compatibility information, supported versions, feature lists, changelog entries, license terms, version history, uploaded packages, release metadata, product icons, cover images, screenshots and any other assets or metadata attached to a listing.

Creator dashboard data is also stored, including revenue metrics, download counts, listing performance, promotional campaign history, coupon usage records, ad placement records and any other operational data generated by your activity as a creator on the platform. This data is used to operate creator tools, power analytics, validate commercial activity and support marketplace trust.

Purchases and Financial Metadata

When you complete a purchase on Magmaro, the platform stores transaction metadata associated with that purchase. This includes identifiers for the purchased resource, the order amount and currency, any discount or coupon applied, the payment provider reference, the transaction timestamp and the resulting access grant. This information is used to confirm the purchase, deliver buyer library access, support creator revenue reporting, validate checkout outcomes, resolve disputes and maintain marketplace auditability.

Magmaro does not store payment card numbers, card verification codes, bank account details or any equivalent sensitive payment credentials. These details are handled exclusively by third-party payment processors — currently Stripe — in accordance with their own security standards and terms. Magmaro stores only the non-sensitive references and identifiers returned by those processors after a transaction is completed.

If a purchase is refunded, reversed, disputed or cancelled, a record of that event is also retained for accounting, fraud prevention and creator payout accuracy purposes.

Buyer Library and Access Records

Magmaro stores records of which resources each user has acquired access to, how that access was granted (purchase, creator ownership, platform grant or other mechanism), which version of each resource is current for that user and whether access is active or suspended. These records are the authoritative source of buyer entitlements and are used every time a user accesses their library or downloads a file.

Download event counts and version access information may also be stored as part of creator analytics. Individual download events are not personally attributed in creator-visible dashboards — creators see aggregate statistics rather than individual buyer identities.

Messages, Reviews, Discussions and Profile Posts

Magmaro stores the content of private messages exchanged between users, profile posts published on your own or others' profiles, public resource reviews and star ratings, review replies from creators, and resource discussion threads and replies. This content is retained to support user communication, product discovery, creator-buyer support interactions, moderation, abuse prevention and the overall usefulness of community features.

Public-facing content such as profile posts, reviews and discussion replies is visible to other platform users according to where it was published and the visibility settings of your account. Private messages are not publicly visible, but may be retained and accessed internally where necessary for security, enforcement, abuse investigation or platform integrity purposes.

Deleting a message or post from the interface may remove its public visibility, but does not necessarily remove the underlying record from platform infrastructure immediately, particularly where that record is subject to an active moderation review, dispute or security investigation.

Notifications and Browser Subscriptions

Magmaro stores notification preferences, notification records and — where you have granted permission — browser push subscription tokens. These are used to deliver alerts for new messages, resource sale events, library updates, new versions of resources you own, profile interactions, moderation notices and other platform events that you have configured to receive.

Browser push subscription tokens are associated with your account and used solely to deliver notifications from Magmaro. They are not used for advertising, cross-site tracking or profiling. You can revoke browser push permissions at any time through your browser settings, and notification delivery preferences can be adjusted per category in your account settings.

Technical and Usage Data

In the course of operating the platform, Magmaro may store technical data necessary for security, performance monitoring and abuse detection. This may include IP addresses associated with login events, session identifiers, authentication tokens, request logs relevant to security investigations and error records that help identify and resolve platform issues.

This technical data is not used to build user profiles for commercial purposes. It is retained for the minimum period necessary for the operational or security purpose it serves.
